Job qualifications: Graduation from a recognized 12-month program in cooking or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Completion of Level 1 FOOD SAFE Program Certificate. Valid WHMIS certificate. Previous experience in a long-term care home is an asset.

Job Duties: Our Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of our RNs and Care Manager, and function under Full Scope of the BCCNP. LPN’s will participate fully as members of the multidisciplinary team in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for work assignments in accordance with competency guidelines within the standards of practice, as outlined by the BCCNP and current legislative scope of practice.

Job Qualifications: Current BC Practical Nurse License including Full Scope of Practice capability; and current membership with the BCNU. Ability to: communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; Team Lead; deal with others effectively and respectfully; organize workflow and operate related equipment.

Job Duties: Our Registered Nurses, under the direction of the Care Manager, plan, organize, co-ordinate, and provide direct nursing care to elders. Within a multidisciplinary care environment, the RN provides guidance to LPNs and RCAs for elder care, which is consistent with current standards of professional practice, the Philosophy of Care, and established organizational standards. RNs will participate fully as members of the multidisciplinary team in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for work assignments in accordance with competency guidelines within the standards of practice, as outlined by the current legislative scope of practice. In the absence of both the Care Manager and CEO, is assigned in-charge responsibilities and maintains responsibility for contacting senior managers in the event of unusual circumstances.

Job Qualifications: Graduation from an approved Registered Nursing Program; current practicing membership with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) or Psychiatric Nurses of British Columbia (CRPNBC) and, current membership with the BCNU; two years recent related experience working with elderly and/or mental health clients, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Salary/wages: $ 40.21- $54.28 as per the BCNU provincial agreement.
