With two years of focused fundraising, our families, friends, and community have shown immense support for this project. In that time, our outdoor gatherings and celebrations, utilizing the parking lot or setting up around the orchard trees, have continued to show us that the need is great for a safe, level, and covered area outside.

We have completed Phase 1, the foundation phase with a concrete platform with pathway access from both facilities, and all foundational supports are in place (electrical, irrigation, post fittings, etc.).

Now it’s time to raise the roof!  Our fundraising efforts towards phase 2 of the Outdoor Event Space will install the covered timber-frame pavilion.

Person-centered care is our focus at Arrowsmith. We are working with our tenants, residents, and their families to understand and support individual needs.

 We support these needs through enhanced programming, special events, outings, gardening clubs, and we hope to become a hub of activity in our community with this special outdoor space.

Arrowsmith Lodge and Cokely Manor are the only not for profit care homes in the Oceanside area. Funding from the BC Ministry of Health provides ONLY basic care and services for our residents. However, there is still much to be done to provide comforts that our seniors deserve.
